History: The Red Wings have worn several variations of the winged baseball emblem on their caps through the years. The 1950 pennant-winning club was managed by Johnny Keane. Offense was provided by Don Richmond and Russ Derry, and hurlers MVP Tom Poholsky and Ken Wild led the league in ERA and winning percentage respectively. Rochester topped Jersey City in the first round of the Shaughnessy playoffs, but lost to the Baltimore Orioles in the final round.
