League: Southern Association
History: The first Chattanooga team called “Lookouts” was back in 1885, and there was a team by that name in the Southern Association from 1910 to 1961. Chattanooga had a long association with the Washington Senators. The Lookouts played at Engel Stadium for nearly 70 years, beginning in 1930. The Lookouts capture four pennants and one Dixie Series championship during their years in the Southern Association.
