League: Southern Association
History: Despite a bright start to the decade with a pennant and Dixie Series victory in 1931, the 1930s were a low point for the Barons. 1932 saw the team finish in fifth place in the Southern Association with a record of 68 wins and 83 losses, with no pitcher finishing the season with a winning record. The Barons played at Rickwood Field, the stadium they shared with the Negro League team the Birmingham Black Barons. The Barons still play today, now as an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and continue to play one regular season game every season at Rickwood Field.
