History: Known today as the hometown of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, this tough logging town on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula fielded a club in the Pacific International League in the early 20th century. Playing their home games at Electric Park, eleven Black Cats would go on to the Major Leagues, including Pants Roland who managed the great Chicago White Sox teams between 1915 and 1918, winning the World Series in 1917.
