History: In 1959, the FSU Seminoles baseball team won 20 games for the fourth straight season and made their fourth consecutive appearance in the four-team NCAA District 3 playoffs. They were led by FSU Hall of Famer Bob Clem, whose batting average of .436 still stands today as the highest single-season batting average in Seminoles history.
