History: The Criollos were a powerhouse team in ’56-’57. With Vic Power, Luke Eatster and Sandy Koufax already on the roster, they acquired Roberto Clemente from Santurce mid-season. Clemente flirted with .400 until the last game of the season, ending the year with a .396 average.
