History: Since 1950, Cougar baseball fans have had little to cheer about, as that was the last time the WSC nine had won a conference championship. In 1956, after packing the northern division crown under their belts, the Cougs handed the USC Trojans two straight losses to pocket the Pacific Coast Conference Crown and a trip to the College World Series tournament in Omaha.
The Washington State Cougars are currently members of the Pac-12 and play their home games at Bailey-Brayton Field, Pullman, Washington.
