History: The brightest spot on the 1963 Washinton Husky baseball squad was Junior Shortstop Les Uyehara, who led the team in batting with a .388 batting average. He also led the team in Home Runs with 3. The most famous alum to don a Husky uniform was Tim “The Freak” Lincecum who won the 2006 Golden Spikes Award as the best amateur player in the US.
